EASTERN WHEATBELT RIDING CLUB
Eastern Wheatbelt Riding Club was established to allow riders over the age of 18 in the Wheatbelt the opportunity to participate in clinics, lessons and competitions without having to travel to Perth. The club hosts monthly rallies catering to all styles of riding. Past rallies have included camp drafting, trail rides, dressage, show jumping, eventing, mounted games, horse soccer, agility and horsemanship.
In 2016 we introduced Club Awards, designed to recognise members for their attendance, participation, and contribution to the spirit of the club throughout the year. The club colours are bottle green and white, and members are encouraged to wear their uniform consisting of a bottle green shirt with white trim, and white, beige or black jodhpurs/moleskins/ jeans for rallies. EWRC is affiliated with Adult Riding Clubs Association (WA) and EWRC members are eligible to compete at the Interclub Challenges, held three times per year. Rallies are advertised with usually at least 6 weeks’ notice. Rally registrations close 7 days prior to the rally date, and payment is due at that time to secure your place. Our aim at EWRC is to provide a supportive and safe environment for adults to enjoy their horses in the company of likeminded people. New members are always welcome and visitors can join our rallies for a small day insurance fee. |
